So it seems, you know, you should always be a master of self-awareness.
I know I’m not the only one who thinks like this, but I have to admit that I always tried to make sure the world is just as much a part of my personality as my character. I’m now a master of self-awareness, and I’m not afraid to make sure the things I’m holding back are just not worth it.
That is because, as I have said, self-awareness is based on self-knowledge. Self-awareness is knowing yourself, and knowing who you are in the world. It’s important to keep in mind that our abilities for self-awareness aren’t necessarily the same as our character’s abilities. For instance, if you are a master of self-awareness, you might also be a master of good-looking, muscular, big-brotherly behavior.

This is exactly what Sigmund Freud meant when he said that the ego is the “self-consciousness” of the mind. To actually be self-aware, you do have to be aware of how you are feeling.
