A lot of people make a concerted effort to learn something new, even if they are quite capable of doing it. But it’s important to know that the way we learn something will directly impact our ability to understand our own experience, which will in turn impact the effectiveness of this learning.
I think knowledge management is a broad term that can mean a lot of different things. We might think of it in terms of a skill set, the ability to organize, or a mental model. There are a lot of different ways that we can think about this. What I think of as knowledge management is the ability to organize the way we learn to understand and manage our own experiences.
This is a broad topic, but in my opinion, the most valuable skill that anyone can develop is the ability to organize that learning. All learning (of any kind) involves some form of organizing what we learn, and I think this is the key to building a successful learning system.
I can think of a number of different ways of organizing our learning. The most popular method is to use a linear curriculum with a set of “levels”. For example, in an introductory psychology class, I might use the first two years of class to cover the basic concepts, and then I would cover the last two years of class and make sure to go over the important topics and questions.
I think the key concept is to make sure that we are using the right level. A good way to test is to have students in a class with a teacher who is clearly teaching the level they are in. In this case, the teacher would probably be giving out the lecture, but if they are in one of the classes below (or above), they should be giving out the lecture.
This is a good way to see if you are on the right track. You can also see if you are on the path to achieving the right certification. For the basics, you should know the definition of knowing, knowing how to do something, and knowing the difference between knowing and believing. You should be able to explain why you know something, and you should be able to explain why you believe something.
A knowledge management certification is a certification that is given to someone who has the ability and desire to teach others. The certifying agency will then evaluate the instructor and award the person with the certifacation. In the past, knowledge management certifications have been given out by organizations such as the Association for Professional Certification in Learning and Development (APCLD), the National Association of Accrediting agencies (NAAC), and the Association for Educational Accreditation (AEA).
For those of you not familiar with how certification works, it’s pretty straightforward. Your instructor will do a project for you, but you will be the one that will be assessed for your knowledge. The person that is evaluated is the one that is being certified by the certifying agency. If the person is certified and competitivly teaches others, then the person that is certified will get the opportunity to teach others.
Certification is a great way to teach others. There is one thing that certifying agencies do not (and are not supposed to) do: judge. You are the one that is being certificated, not the person that is performing the task. The entire process is a combination of assessment, review, and a test.
Certifications are a great way for you to teach others how to improve their skills. It also shows that the person who is certified is doing his job and the person who is not is doing a bad job.
