javascript weird parts

I’ve written about JavaScript before, so I will say that there are some quirks of the syntax that can be a bit funky for those of you who aren’t accustomed to it.

Its a little hard to explain, but this is one of those quirks that people who were taught a bit about javascript in high school are prone to. And it can also be hard to debug if you are not familiar with it.

The trick is in how you think about the code, not which method you use. This is why you should always check your code first.

If you want to take a look at the source, here are the first few lines.

The key is to think about your code the way you would think about code written by a college professor. You will most likely not understand a single line of code, but you will think about it the way an expert would think about it. You will want to ask yourself if you even know what you are doing. If you need to get into some trouble, get the book, and read up on it.

That’s all well and good, but not everyone can be lucky enough to get something called a book like this. Just because you have all the info you need doesn’t mean you can do it. It’s important to understand that you need to get into some trouble in order to learn about code. Most of the time there’s no real good way to get into trouble, but in some cases there is.

When you’re not in trouble, you can easily just get to the bottom of it. Many times we do it by thinking, “this is the only way to get into trouble. If I get to the bottom of it, I don’t understand why.

No, it’s not the only way, it’s the safest. In fact, you can usually avoid getting into trouble by not getting into trouble.
