This may appear to be a blatantly obvious query, but on my box of Clementines from Stop & Shop through Spain, three pesticides are listed as used. Orthophenylpnenol, thiabendazole and imazalil. Is this the reason for boiling them for 2 hours? Normally I discard the peel, subsequently I determine I’m discarding the majority of the pesticides as nicely.
Hi Lizzi — I immediately thought of that however baking powder! This could be great for people who can’t eat dairy. Or an entire host of different issues that are not included in the recipe.
