The animations for the characters are awesome. The new game’s menu screen has a couple of them, and their animations are definitely the best I’ve seen in a video game character animation. I’ll never look at a character animation from the main menu again.
The main menu is also quite the visual marvel. Even if it doesn’t feature the best animation, it’s still pretty great. I can see myself playing the next installment of this series (I’ve got to watch out for death in the game, though).

By simply hitting the menu button, you can have a bunch of characters move around the screen or take some action. Not only is it a great way to introduce the game to new people, but it’s also extremely addictive.
This is where you can get very into things like control schemes and game modes. There are actually two game modes in blender: Survival and Challenge. The Survival mode is the one where you play a bunch of death-looping games to achieve high score. The Challenge mode is where you play the same game you did on the Survival, but for the whole day. This is where you get to see the world in a different light. The Challenge mode gives you a huge amount of freedom, however.
