This presentation will be the first course for any graduate student in applied statistical analysis. It will cover a number of topics including the basics of the applied distribution, basic statistics, the linear mixed model, and linear regression.

The course will also cover the theory of the linear regression model and the theory of the linear mixed model.

A standard statistical question (i.e. “what is the mean of a set of values”) is essentially a problem that you can solve by multiplying a bunch of numbers together. And a standard linear regression problem is essentially a problem that you can solve by multiplying a bunch of things together (like x and y).
