I’m an author, activist, and teacher. My bio can be found here.
I was never officially connected with the film industry (not that there’s anything wrong with that), but I’ve been an active member of the film community for decades now. And I have a lot of credentials, too. I’m a former president of the American Film Institute, an active member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and I’ve been named a fellow by the American Cinematographer Society. I’m also a proud member of the American Society of Cinematographers.
I have a long list of credentials too, which includes being a teacher, running a film school, and serving as a judge in various film festivals. Ive written and directed several feature films, and I was also the president of the American Society of Cinematographers. I think we can all agree that I have got a lot of credentials to add to the list.
